![]() Transitions can be created by overlapping motion clips. You can connect, and transition between, different motion clips by adding other saved motion clips, and then dragging them next to others in the timeline. Dragging the ends will speed up or slow down the animation. ![]() In the open area below those icons – Right Click > Open Motion Source Preset and select the saved motion clip from step 2 above.ģ) Drag the motion clip that has been added to that window onto the object in the adjacent window (Motion Mode).Ĥ) In that Motion Mode window you can click on the + next to the object name to open the hierarchy and see the motion clip in the timeline. This will add a Motion System tag to that object.Ģ) Switch to Motion mode in the timeline (the third icon next to Keyframe and F-curve that looks like an M made out of three vertical bars). To apply that animation to another object in another project:ġ) Select the object in the Object menu – Tags > Cinema 4D Tags > Motion System. A motion clip will be added to the timeline, which will switch to the motion mode.Ģ) Right click on the motion clip and select “Save Motion Source Preset.” This will save that clip to your Content Browser > User > Motion Source Preset folder which has been created for you. A window will appear in which to name the clip and select the parameters you want to use. ![]() Since the help files are not that detailed, I hope the following will help:ġ) Select the animated object in the Objects menu – Animate > Add Motion Clip. Cinema 4D’s Motion System will do just what you want.
